We stayed in the Folly, which is wonderfully eclectic. Its furnishings have been carefully curated over a long period of time. It was both comfortable and convenient with cozy furniture as well as a well equipped kitchen. It reminded us of a 1930s resort with its private swimming pool, lawn tennis court, snooker table and a lot of board games and puzzles. The location is idyllic, but some might say a little remote, especially if you’re not used to driving on one lane roads. Fingal’s is not for everyone, but it was exactly right for us.
