The Folly is a unique, quirky building, lovingly decorated, in a garden, by a stream, with a dishwasher and a nespresso machine (coffee provided)!   We loved it.  The first evening we went for one of the suggested walks up the valley: bluebells, bird song, wild flowers, stream and then up onto the downs, with views as far as Torquay.  Next morning a bullfinch watched us having breakfast.  Stretching exercises on the grass tennis court in front of The Folly, visited Agatha Christie’s house using the Dittisham passenger ferry … back for swimming … and sauna.  In the evenings Sheila recommended two superb restaurants.  Bliss for three days.
