Barberry Brook

I stayed at Barberry Brook, Fingals – just myself, a mid 30s female and my dog. I was looking for a relaxing, quiet, calm, slower paced week off and that’s exactly what I got. Barberry brook has the most beautiful bath with calming views over rolling hills, the comfiest bed and perfect set up for a relaxing break. The location couldn’t be faulted also. Nestled down winding country roads you really felt a sense of escape from the city. The owners were on hand for any questions and recommendations for where to explore, they also have a lovely detailed book without which I wouldn’t have come across the most beautiful beaches and costal walks. It was just heaven and exactly what the doctor ordered.  Thank you for bringing this beautiful property to my attention, and to top it off I think my dog had a better holiday than me splashing around in the crystal clear rivers, dog friendly beaches and endless coastal walks. Just stunning.
