Upper Mill House
A spacious family retreat in South Devon
This light, bright, spacious family getaway is oozing with character. Art and antiques adorn the walls and the four-poster bed and minstrel’s gallery make it a stay to remember. The Upper Mill House is the perfect place for those who love to blend indoor and outdoor living as it has a gloriously sunny plant-filled conservatory and an enormous south facing patio garden, perfect for warm summer evenings, alfresco dining and family BBQs. It also has a cosy wood burner if you’re here during the colder months.
The Upper Mill House has a stunning master suite with hand carved four poster bed and ensuite bathroom. It also benefits from a second large double bedroom and twin room with access to a shared bathroom. The comfy oak-beamed sitting room offers a great space to relax and watch movies, and the quirky minstrel’s gallery above has its very own library and reading snug. This self-catering cottage has plenty of space for the whole family to spread out. If your group is larger than six people though, you can also book the Lower Mill House, which sleeps an extra six people accommodating a total group size of 12.
