The Stream Room
Just a minutes walk along a gravel path from the main house is our newest room, The Stream Room. Built by local firm Carpenter Oak, this is a large, open room full of light and lime washed beams and offering a little balcony overlooking the wild stream - a calm and peaceful place to sit with a cup of tea or gin and tonic and spot the various wildlife (other guests have sworn that they saw otters and a kingfisher!). The Barberry Water can resemble a babbling brook or a little rushing river – depending on the rain being washed down from the fields all around us.
There is a sunken bath in one corner of the room, by a window with the same, tranquil view and a separate en suite with shower cubicle, basin and WC.
The artwork in the style of this room is mostly black and white and features charcoal sketches by local artists Paul Riley, Sarah Gillespie and Alice Leach.
Should you wish for something different, we have other luxury rooms available for Bed & Breakfast.
